Our Story
Northwest Taxperts was founded by Bruce and Diane Siggson after they worked for years preparing tax returns for two of the largest tax preparation corporations in the world. After growing their business and clientele, they officially retired in 2021 - handing down Northwest Taxperts to their children, Ashley, Heather, and Melinda. Ashley is now an Enrolled Agent and the CEO of our company. Melinda, her wife, is the Lead Tax Preparer and the President of the company. Heather, Ashley’s sister, is a Tax Preparer and the Secretary of our Company.
Our Vision
Our primary goal at Northwest Taxperts is to work for our clients to produce the best outcomes with as little hassle as possible. We want to help you understand your tax situation and maximize your tax savings. We offer a modern and personalized tax service that can cater to the specific needs of every client.
We are equipped to provide remote tax preparation for any client. We have convenient and quick ways to communicate, send documents, and sign returns. Clients can transfer sensitive tax documents using an encrypted file transfer, by fax, through a shared Google folder, by email, text, or snail mail. We are happy to adapt to your needs.

Tax Consultations: Buying a new home, gifting to your children, selling your business, college expenses or general tax questions? Just ask.
Audit Assistance: For any tax return that we prepare - We will write letters, make phone calls or accompany you - in other words... whatever it takes.
Penalties and Interest: If you incur penalties and interest on a tax return as a result of something we prepared incorrectly, we will pay those fees - and if necessary we will amend your return for free.
We agree to faithfully execute our professional responsibilities and to accurately prepare and file your Federal and State Tax Returns in a timely manner.
We further guarantee that our preparers are duly licensed and that our business is legal and licensed and is an authorized e-file provider with the IRS.
We also Guarantee that we will not sell or share ANY client information except to Federal and State Taxing Authorities or when compelled by a Court Order.
We take your trust very seriously and we therefore have instituted advanced procedures to protect your identity and your confidential information using the best tools at our disposal.
